93 year old Veteran loses his medals

MESSAGE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL BOMBER COMMAND MEMORIAL TEAM
PLEASE HELP: "A Bomber Command Veteran has lost his medals at a service station on his way to the Memorial, somewhere near Newark, possibly Spital services. Please share this and hope we can get them back to him safely."
If found please contact the police or the International Bomber Command Centre.


 A  service was held to today at Lincoln to unveil a memorial to honour of all the servicemen and women who served in Bomber Command during the Second World War. Three hundred surviving veterans attended. The youngest being 91 years old.
The memorial stands 102ft (31.09m) the width of a Lancaster Bomber wingspan.
