Back in 1988 I bought 'Peril in Venice' by Rondo Veneziano.
I have played it and played it and last year I thought I had better try and replace it with a CD. Easier said than done. I trawled through the internet and they appeared to be like hens teeth! And £37+. Ouch.
Today while tootling around our local Boot Sale my heart missed a beat. There tucked on one of the stalls was a Cd of 'Venice in Peril'.
I casually picked it up and looked at it and asked how much she wanted for it. £1 she says. So I now have a copy of it and need no longer worry about my cassette giving up the ghost. One happy bunny...!
