Today I was invited to look around a private woodland to see the mass of bluebells. What a wonderful opportunity and one not to miss. Wow what a beautiful sight too.
A sea of blue and the fragrance was out of this world.
Also I got to see wild orchids, kingcups, primroses, naturalised lily of the valley. Huge swathes of them. Their tiny white bells just beginning to open. Seventeen Roe deer, 2 muncjacks, 6 hares, huge wood ants, pheasants, partridge, herons on their nest high up in the tree tops, peacocks and a Greylag goose, who had a nest of 6 eggs.
A morning I won't forget in a hurry.
Thank you for dropping by.
